Home of SCCA’s National Championship Runoffs® in 2019, 2022, and 2023, VIRginia International Raceway first opened in 1957, and its first official event was an SCCA race that attracted stars like Carl Haas, Carroll Shelby, and Bob Holbert. The venue is a fixture in SCCA’s history, and this three-day Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA® Super Tour event hosted by the Club’s North Carolina Region carries on that tradition.
