Northeast Conference 2019 U.S. Majors Tour Schedule

TOPEKA, Kan. (Dec. 13, 2018) -- The Northeast Conference has released its 2019 SCCA® U.S. Majors Tour® competition calendar.  A total of six weekends, 12 races in all, make up the schedule that runs from April through July.

The Northeast Conference season begins with a Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour date at VIRginia International Raceway. That event at VIR, which is the National Championship Runoffs® venue for 2019, is one of only two three-day race weekends on the Northeast Conference schedule, the other being a second Hoosier Super Tour event at Watkins Glen International in June. Sandwiched between the two Hoosier Super Tour weekends are stops at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia and Pittsburgh International Race Complex in Pennsylvania. Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in Connecticut hosts the Conference’s Round 9 and Round 10 races before the season comes to a close at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville.

As always, the calendar below is subject to change, but the current 2019 U.S. Majors Tour Northeast Conference schedule is comprised of the following:

- April 12-14: VIRginia International Raceway; Alton, Virginia
(Dual Southeast/Northeast Conference Event)

- April 27-28: Summit Point Raceway; Summit Point, West Virginia

- May 11-12: Pittsburgh International Race Complex; Wampum, Pennsylvania

- June 21-23: Watkins Glen International; Watkins Glen, New York

- July 13-14: Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park; Thompson, Connecticut

- July 20-21: New Jersey Motorsports Park; Millville, New Jersey

Schedules for other SCCA U.S. Majors Tour Conferences will be published as they are finalized. Only SCCA Full Competition and SCCA Pro Racing License holders may register for the U.S. Majors Tour or Hoosier Super Tour series. Again this year, both the U.S. Majors Tour and Hoosier Super Tour serve as pathways to the 2019 SCCA National Championship Runoffs® being held at VIRginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia.
