If it is a party that you are looking for, the Houston Tour is designed specifically for you. Tour “Party Chief,”Zack Barnes is assembling a nearly endless supply of food and beverage to ensure that you will enjoy your time out of the car as much as you enjoy attacking the Roger ‘The Real’ Johnson designed course. This is a new site for the Houston Region. It is a 300×1000 lot adjacent to the Royal Purple (formally known as Sam Houston Raceway Park). Solo competitors can take a few passes as part of the Friday Night Street Race Series. And if that is not enough, this event will feature two supplemental indexed Street Tire Classes, one for stock cars and one for cars modified beyond Stock Class rules. Don’t forget, this is Houston, so you can head to the Galleria for shopping and dining, head to St. Arnold’s Brewery for a cold and fresh one, or hit the locals favorite, Iguana Joe’s for Tex-Mex and a Margarita. If you Are looking to get a bit off the beaten path, check out Kemah Boardwalk on Galveston Bay for dining, shopping and the best sunset in Texas.
