Abby Scher

I’ve been part of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) community since 2008, and that early passion for autocross with a short adventure in Spec Miata racing eventually led me to join the National Office full-time in 2022. As the Region Communication, Training, and Events Manager, I help connect and support SCCA’s regions and volunteers through leadership development, educational programs, and event planning, including the SCCA National Convention and divisional conventions. My goal is to create opportunities that strengthen communication, collaboration, and member engagement across the club. Before joining SCCA, I worked in the entertainment industry as Director of Marketing & PR, where I had the chance to collaborate with incredible people like Jay Leno. I hold both a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an MBA from Coastal Carolina University. Outside of work, I love to travel and spend time with my husband, Steven, our chocolate lab, Piper, and our daughters, Morgan & Maggie.
