The 2016 Targa Southland is a multi-discipline driving event that covers autocross, time trials, road rally, and over 600 miles of driving through South Carolina, the mountains of North Georgia, Tennessee and Kentucky. If one automotive event per weekend is good, 6 must be great. Targa is for people who like a challenge. Targa is because you love having fun with cars.

I just came across this event.  How many participated and is the SCCA planning another TARGA in 2017?

Randy Pobst

Thank you Targa Team for a wonderful event full of adventure!

Layton Cater

Wish I could have made it.   Maybe the next one

Randy Pobst

Don't miss it, what a great overdose of track and car fun

This is a rare ocurrence where two different SCCA programs occupy the same time and space Friday night at Charlotte (CMS).  We will be at CMS for Round #3 of the F600 Challenge Series - - so come visit and look over the F600's (F500 with 600cc MC drivetrains) in the paddock.  Enjoy!

Karl Rickert

Be good to see you Jim, stop by and say hey!

Jim Murphy

Karl,  Looking forward to seeing you again after so long of a time.  I hope that I can find you.  I will be near where all the F600's are paddocked - you will hear the motorcycle exhausts.  Come see what the next economical step up from racing karts is - note the word "economical".

Hi all,

I have started an open Facebook group for everyone planning on running Targa. "Targa Southland 2016"

Feel free to add yourself and others, I figured this would be a good way to share info and get questions answered leading up to the event.
