Hard Charger awarded in all classes to the competitor who advances the most positions in each SCCA National Championship Runoffs competition.

  • Competitors who have any loss of qualifying times or their grid position altered in any fashion due to an infraction are not eligible for award. All other competitors, including those who did not post an official qualifying time, are eligible to compete for the Hard Charger Award.
  • This contingency program is administered and paid entirely by SCCA, on behalf of Sunoco Race Fuels

This is an optional contingency awards program. The sponsor reserves the right to modify program eligibility and award criteria at any time during the program term.

  • Competitors must register with SCCA each year prior to competing to be eligible for contingency awards
  • Decals Required:  2
    • Location:  One prominently displayed on each side of the vehicle at least 8” from the rocker panel.
  • Decals will be available on-site at contingency registration in the tech area
  • It is the competitor’s responsibility to register properly and neatly apply decals

Instructions

SCCA National staff will verify decal placement and class eligibility onsite at the Championship Runoffs race and will submit claims on behalf of eligible competitors within 30 days of the event
