  • Product certificates are presented to the 1st – 6th place drivers in qualifying classes for the SCCA National Championship Runoffs competition
  • The Hard Luck award recipient is defined as the program eligible starter who completes the least number of laps in each class. In the case of a tie, the award will go to the competitor listed in the lowest position on that lap.
  • All certificates will expire on 12/31/2026
  • This contingency program is administered and paid entirely by SCCA, on behalf of Summit Racing Equipment

This is an optional contingency awards program. The sponsor reserves the right to modify program eligibility and award criteria at any time during the program term.

  • Competitors must register with SCCA each year prior to competing to be eligible for contingency awards
    • U.S. Majors Tour registration does not include Championship Runoffs
  • Decals Required: 2
    • Location:  One prominently displayed on each side of the vehicle
    • Summit contingency decals are NOT the same as the required Summit Road Racing decals, competitors must have both to qualify.
  • Decals will be available on-site at contingency registration in the tech area
  • It is the competitor’s responsibility to register properly and neatly apply decals

Instructions

SCCA National staff will verify decal placement and class eligibility onsite at the Championship Runoffs race and will submit claims on behalf of eligible competitors within 30 days of the event
