Presented to the SCCA racing enthusiast who has done the most in the past year to promote motorsports, both nationally and internationally. The winner is chosen from nominees set forth by a panel of motorsports journalists, then approved by the Board of Directors and/or the Smiley family or its representatives. Award not presented since 1997
