Adventure Awaits Around Every Turn with These Upcoming Divisional and National SCCA RoadRallies

It’s just you, a buddy, and the open road. And a list of instructions. And a bunch of other folks who enjoy a well-organized road trip that involves friendly competition.

That’s SCCA® RoadRally for you – a way to spend a day cruising some of the best (or least discovered, or most challenging…) roads in America, all the while staying on time or on route. Then at the end of the event, you get to find out who did it best, then celebrate together.

Sound fun? You bet it is!

RoadRallies are held year-round by dozens of SCCA Regions; some are local Regional events, while others play on the larger stage of Divisional and National competition. Yet regardless of whether you’re completely new to the sport or a seasoned rallyist, you and your driver or navigator are welcome to enter any of the events, because unlike many other forms of motorsport, no matter how good or (er) bad you are, your performance will not impact the outcome for others. All you need is a friend, a street-legal car, and the desire to have a good time.

Now that we’ve sold you on SCCA RoadRally events, there are a number of Divisional and National RoadRallies coming up you’ll want to be a part of.

Sept. 11-12: Friday Press On Regardless National Tour, Detroit Region, Gaylord, MI
Experience the excitement of the 2026 Press On Regardless (POR), North America’s oldest continuously run rally. This two-day adventure (run one day or both, although overall POR results involve scores from both days) features separate 230-mile National Tour RoadRallies through Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, utilizing many of the legendary roads from POR’s 1960s and ’70s events. Expect about 100 GPS-timed checkpoints each day, with scores combined to determine the overall winner.

The route is 80% gravel and 20% pavement, offering everything from fast-flowing roads to technical single-lane challenges, all with straightforward instructions and no traps.
