The Sports Car Club of America™ is pressing “start” on the Sept. 7-11, 2026, Tire Rack SCCA® Solo® National Championships with an all-new theme you know and love: Super Solo Nationals! Inspired by the pixel-powered world of retro gaming, this year’s Solo Nats is ready to take drivers on a full-throttle trip they’ll never forget.
Returning to Lincoln Airpark in Lincoln, NE, the winner-take-all Solo Nationals remains the ultimate final boss level of autocross competition. For 2026, competitors can expect a paddock and course infused with retro gaming flair – think bright colors, playful nods to the youth that you wasted holding gaming controllers, and an atmosphere that feels like you’ve just powered up.
From dressing the part to unforgettable car livery, embracing the Super Solo Nationals theme will be key to making the Solo Nats everything it can be (if Solo Nats bonus points existed, Kart Mod’ers who bring sick Mario Kart vibes would score triple points), but don’t let the event theme fool you: This year’s Solo Nats is still about competition, it’s just wrapped in awesome multi-player gaming flavor.
As they have for more than 50 years, drivers from across the country (and sometimes world) will be chasing the perfect run like it’s a gaming leaderboard, hunting for every tenth of a second like they were grabbing coins and power-ups. Precision, consistency, and focus will separate those who earn a trophy from those who fall just short of a high score.
No Spin Turns if you plan to win this game – although it goes without saying that at least one CP driver will unwittingly attempt it.
Speaking of drivers, this year maintains last year’s bumped-up entry cap of 1,400 drivers. In recent seasons, entries have pushed the 1,300 mark, so this higher limit (powered by finely tuned event efficiency) means the Super Solo Nationals will contain all your favorite SCCA characters, and do so without lag or glitches. From grid to finish line, the goal is a seamless experience worthy of a championship stage.
Super Solo Nationals is more than a theme – it’s a chance to press start, level up, and bring your best to the biggest Solo game of the year. Whether you’re a seasoned autocrosser or a first-time entrant, it’s time to grab your controller – er, steering wheel – and get going.
Game on.
