Öhlins Becomes the Official Suspension System of SCCA

The Sports Car Club of America™ and Öhlins have joined forces for a three-year agreement naming Öhlins as the Official Suspension System of the SCCA®. With this partnership, Öhlins will extend discounts and contingency programs to SCCA members, with Öhlins also becoming involved in SCCA’s Track Night in America® Driven by Tire Rack program.

“Similar to how the Sports Car Club of America has worked to become the measuring stick of amateur motorsports, over the course of the last 50 years, Öhlins has built itself into a name synonymous with performance suspension, making this a natural partnership” said SCCA President and CEO Mike Cobb. “We’re excited to join forces with Öhlins and can’t wait to introduce the SCCA membership to everything Öhlins has to offer.”

Founded in 1976 by Kenth Öhlin as a way to maximize motorcross bike performance, Öhlins has built itself into a multi-national suspension company boasting wins on both two wheels and four, culminating in over 460 world championship titles – like when Öhlins technology helped propel Nigel Mansell to a CART championship title.

Today, Öhlins has an extensive catalogue that includes nearly 100 unique automotive applications, including the company’s Road & Track coilover line, a one-way monotube with independent ride height adjustment, as well as their Advanced Track/TTX motorsport line, a twin tube architecture with up to five damping adjustments.

"For 2026 and on, Öhlins USA is proud to partner with SCCA,” said Öhlins USA Sales Manager Mitch Bloom. “By bringing professional suspension systems to club racing, we believe we can give racers the edge over their competition. Filtering NASCAR and other professional motorsports technologies into our TTX and Road and Track product lines has proven successful in other markets, and we're excited to bring that success to SCCA members."

Öhlins contingency programs for SCCA’s Solo®, Time Attack, and Road Racing, offering discounts toward a future Öhlins product purchase or damper repair service, will be announced soon. Competitors needn’t currently own Öhlins dampers to qualify for these contingency programs. Öhlins will also partner with SCCA’s Track Night in America via an entry fee discount program.

Öhlins headquarters is located in Upplands Väsby, Sweden, with Öhlins USA in Hendersonville, NC.
