St. Louis Region Set to Host 2026 USRRC, Celebrating 100 Years of Route 66

It’s official: St. Louis Region will host the 2026 SCCA® United States RoadRally Challenge (USRRC) on Oct. 9-11, 2026. This will be the fifth time in the USRRC’s three-decade history that St. Louis Region will have hosted the event. Previously, St. Louis hosted the weekend in 1998 (Six Flags, Eureka, MO), 2001 (Pere Marquette State Park, Grafton, IL), 2005 (Fairview Heights, IL), and 2018 (Columbia, IL).

For 2026, St. Louis Region has chosen the Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville, IL, across the river from the Gateway Arch, as its headquarters location, with the USRRC’s headquarters hotel to be determined early in 2026.

The weekend’s provisional schedule is as follows:

  • Oct. 8, 2026: Thursday evening check-in and hospitality.
  • Oct. 9: National Course Rally (named to be determined)
  • Oct. 10: Great River Road National Touring Rally
  • Oct. 11: Route 66 Ramble National Touring Rally

St. Louis Region last offered the Great River Road Tour as part of the 2001 USRRC. The Route 66 Ramble made its debut in 2016 as part of a Region Divisional weekend. As part of the 2026 USRRC, St. Louis Region will celebrate the centenary of Route 66 by again incorporating parts of the road’s historic route between Collinsville, IL, and Springfield, IL.

Also, as in 2016, the Route 66 Ramble will use a Monte Carlo format with tulip diagrams for route instructions. The Great River Road Tour, meanwhile, will use a conventional format for its route instructions.

Additional information and registration opportunities will be available early in 2026.
