FR Americas and F4 U.S. 2026 Schedules Set Groundwork for Long-term Driver Success

The SCCA Pro Racing®-sanctioned Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) and Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) have announced their 2026 schedules, with F4 U.S. bringing fans and competitors 18 rounds of action, while FR Americas boasts 21 rounds.

“We’re really looking forward to 2026 with FR Americas, F4 U.S., and Ligier JFC,” Scott Goodyear, Race Director, said of the F4 U.S. and FR Americas series, plus a third open-wheel series Parella Motorsports Holdings hosts, Ligier JFC. “With circuits like Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and Barber Motorsports Park included on the schedule, we have some tough tracks that we know will challenge our drivers, and we’ll be able to see them develop over the course of those weekends. Likewise, there are few places in America that hold the same significance as Indianapolis Motor Speedway and racing across the yard of bricks. We incorporated feedback from our community as we built these schedules, and we’re really excited for what’s planned.”

Both series span eight months, running from late March to early October, meaning many of the young drivers will undergo quite a change as their skills mature during the competition season. That development will aid the drivers greatly in their motorsports careers as they set their sights on IMSA, Indy NXT, IndyCar, and more – especially considering many of the tracks the F4. U.S. and FR Americas series will compete on are also racetracks visited by the pro series these young drivers are eyeing.

“Each championship continues to deliver great value, with the lowest cost per mile compared to other professional racing series in North America, as well as the other Formula 4 and Formula Regional championships around the globe,” Goodyear added. “Pair that with the impressive wheel-to-wheel competition like we’ve seen year after year, and you’ll find that our series are a superb training ground for young drivers.”
