What’s in the Sim

Sim racing setups are not what they used to be. The early days of home racing sims saw plastic steering wheels and pedals offering a numb experience that often repulsed real-world racers. Don’t expect that from Ricmotech’s APX-Extreme.

The APX-Extreme features a fixed-back bucket seat offering a realistic seating position, with Ricmotech’s SlipSense System and AP-Xtreme gSense Active Restraints supplying the right amount of motion to allow racers to feel what the virtual car is doing.

The package utilizes a professional grade direct-drive steering system for precise control and an astounding 16Nm of peak torque. The professional-grade RealGear GTpro3 Tilton pedals feature full hydraulic brakes with a setting from 10 to 300 pounds of force, a clutch pedal with real pressure plate sensation, and a sensitive throttle pedal.

The prize package includes an in-house built PC designed and tested to perform exceptionally well with iRacing and other popular sim-racing software. The PC comes with all the needed drivers and software for running the provided hardware, and iRacing is pre-installed and configured.
