Does road racing have a lengthy off season? In big-bucks pro series, sure – but when it comes to the Summit Racing Equipment SCCA Road Racing program’s U.S. Majors Tour, the “off season” is barely more than a few months for those willing to travel. The reason: Majors racing is fun! And with us currently staring down year’s end, it’s already time to begin prep work for the racing season to come.

The coast-to-coast U.S. Majors Tour offers track time and high-quality racing at facilities perfect for the task. From pro-level facilities like VIRginia International Raceway, Road America, and Road Atlanta to “club” tracks like Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, Ozarks International Raceway, and Thunderhill Raceway Park, the U.S. Majors Tour has it all. And the racing starts early – for 2024, the first green flag waves at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida during the Jan. 5-7 weekend. The final race of the season? That comes on Labor Day weekend, Aug. 31-Sept. 1, at MSR Cresson in Texas.

The upcoming U.S. Majors Tour season is slated to include more than 30 race weekends across the United States at just about as many circuits. Racing is divided into six geographic Conferences: Southeast, Southern, Western, Mid-States, Northern, and Northeast. Racers can compete for points championships in any (or as many) Conferences as they choose.

Drivers wishing to reserve their car number in one (or multiple) U.S. Majors Tour Conferences can reserve their car numbers now.

The Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour is its own series, but those races are also part of the U.S. Majors Tour. The 2024 Hoosier Super Tour schedule can be found here.

Whether a driver opts to compete in one or more Conferences of the U.S. Majors Tour (or only the Hoosier Super Tour portion), they’ll be racing their way toward a qualifying position at the 2024 National Championship Runoffs, taking place at Road America in Wisconsin on Sept. 27-Oct. 6.
