Register Now For 2023 Runoffs Contingencies

Coffee, as they say, is for closers – but when it comes to the 2023 SCCA® National Championship Runoffs® contingency programs, benefits are to be had by way more than those on the podium. Need examples? Hawk Performance offers a Runoffs contingency program that pays deep into the field – 10 spots deep. And Hawk’s not alone – multiple brake manufacturers offer contingency programs that pay into double-digit finishing positions. In fact, glancing through the extensive Runoffs contingency offerings listed below, it quickly becomes apparent that everyone racing at the 2023 Runoffs needs to register – like, now.

That’s right, registration for Runoffs contingency programs is open – it’s also easy and (best of all) free! From requirements to payouts, every contingency program is unique, so be sure to check each program’s details thoroughly before signing up, which includes applying the correct (and free) stickers. Links for each program can be found below.

If you accidentally neglect to sign up for one of these contingency programs before heading to the Sept. 23-Oct. 1, 2023, SCCA Runoffs at VIRginia International Raceway, you can sign up on site – simply head to tech and look for the contingency desk, where you’ll find the necessary forms and stickers. But remember, you need to sign up prior to the applicable portion of the contingency offering – it’s no good registering for the Tire Rack Pole Award after you’ve found yourself on the top of the grid sheet, and to claim the Sunoco Hard Charger prize, you need to be registered prior to the race.

Also as a reminder, Runoffs contingency programs differ from those during the regular U.S. Majors Tour and Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour, meaning you need to sign up for the Runoffs programs even if you’ve registered for similar contingency programs earlier in the year.

Read on for the details, click the links to find out more (or head to the SCCA Contingency webpage), and then register by clicking this link.
