Bravo Trailers Becomes the Exclusive Trailer Partner of SCCA

If there’s one truth in motorsports, it’s that a trailer will eventually find its way onto your driveway. Be it cars or equipment, the need to transport items safely and efficiently to events is of top concern. With a plethora of equipment required to traverse the country in support of the Hoosier Racing Tire Super Tour, the Sports Car Club of America is no different, which is why the SCCA is proud to announce that it has partnered with Bravo Trailers, with Bravo Trailers becoming the Exclusive Trailer Partner of the SCCA.

Born from more than three decades of experience as the founder of the largest cargo trailer manufacturer in the country, Mitchell Bender’s Bravo Trailers was a clean-sheet project with the goal of producing premium enclosed race and commercial trailers matched with a great customer experience. And as a 40-year member of the SCCA who used to race – with son Danny continuing the family racing tradition with, among other things, a National Championship title at the 2014 Runoffs – Bender and Bravo Trailers understand the needs of SCCA racers.

“Bravo Trailers is more than a trailer manufacturer – we use what we sell, so we know what SCCA racers need in a trailer,” Bender, President of Bravo Trailers, said. “You’ll often find us at the track working out of one of our Bravo trailers supporting my son Danny in his GT-2 racing. Through Bravo’s support of SCCA and the Hoosier Super Tour, we hope SCCA racers will be able to see what quality race trailers built from someone with an SCCA racing background look like, be it one of Bravo’s steel or aluminum enclosed trailers.”

Beginning with the 2023 season, SCCA will utilize a Bravo trailer in support of Hoosier Super Tour events taking place across the country. The trailer will serve a variety of needs, from transporting tech inspection tools to carrying the multitude of cameras and media equipment that bring live coverage of the 10-round Hoosier Super Tour to SCCA’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.

“Breakdowns and equipment failure is not an option when it comes to transporting vital equipment to all of the Hoosier Super Tour weekends,” said SCCA Vice President of Road Racing Eric Prill. “When we decided we needed to upgrade, we knew we needed something that was top quality, but also wanted to team up with a company that understood motorsports. We were excited when the opportunity arose to partner with Mitch and Bravo Trailers, because Bravo offers the best of both worlds.”

Bravo Trailers manufactures a variety of trailers, covering both racing applications and commercial use. SCCA will utilize Bravo Trailers’ 24-foot ICON performance model for Hoosier Super Tour transport duty. The tandem axle aluminum trailer is equipped with custom cabinets, airline track in the floor and walls, carpeted lower side walls, electrical, a slide out step, and much more. Its aluminum construction will offer durability and reliability while the trailer traverses more than 12,300 miles annually, crisscrossing the United States in support of SCCA’s pinnacle road racing series.

Those interested in ordering a trailer from Bravo Trailers should head to the Bravo Trailers website to view the vast selection and click “Find a Dealer” for their local dealer.
