After the year that was 2020, we are all aware of COVID-19 and the impact that it has had. We wanted to take a quick moment to point out some considerations that have been made as we all prepare to descend on the concrete beach. Some are things that we've done over the years that just happen to be helpful, some are changes that we've all become used to over this season, and some are specific to the 2021 Tire Rack SCCA Solo Nationals event.

Solo Nationals specific:

  • Banquets will be on-site for 2021
  • Hand sanitizer available in the faster-moving, high-volume areas (check-in, etc)
  • Tent flaps will remain open as possible and appropriate in order to maximize airflow
  • Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department has established guidelines for food vendors to follow

Now familiar from 2021 National Tours:

  • Using SpeedWaiver or Annual Waivers to minimize contact at the gate.
  • Using a self-tech sheet (to be obtained at check-in)
  • Supps and worker assignments posted online
  • Masks required in timing trailers and where unable to social distance
  • Any attendees are welcome to still wear a mask if it increases their comfort level to do so
  • All attendees are asked to meet each other's comfort level by keeping a mask with them and wearing it if they interact with someone who is wearing a mask
  • Sign up for text messaging for on-site communications
  • Trophies awarded immediately following competition

Same Old, Same Old:

  • Have you seen how big the Airpark is?! (Solo Nationals first timers - welcome!)
  • 25x25 individual paddock spacing allows for social distancing
  • Group Paddock allows for your region autocross bubble to stay together
  • Take advantage of trailer jail, storing your empty trailer for the week allows even more room
  • Handwashing stations down by course/vendor areas as well as distributed throughout the paddock
