The Delaware Tour is part of a trend in the 2011 schedule, as it is one of 5 events hosted by a traditional motorsports venue. With event chairs Jeff Jacobs and Adam Fuh the Philadelphia Region has big autocross plans for Dover International Raceway, until now, better known for the iconic Monster Mile. This is a new site for Solo, a huge, flat asphalt lot that the region will do their best to rubber in this spring. Course design and Welcome party plans are still developing, but have no doubt, the Philly guys will treat you right. If you are a gambler, there is a Casino in the Dover Downs Hotel, located across from the event site. Eats are available up and down DuPont Highway ranging from Oysters, to burgers to pies at Uno Pizzeria.

Bottom Line: According to National Series Field Staff member, Cindy Jansen, the Philadelphia Region is determined to out do all other Regions with the Delaware Tour. Given the competition, you are gonna want to see what they’ve got.
