Running door-to-door with the biggest names in American motorsports isn’t for the faint of heart, but that’s exactly where we’ve been living lately. The SCCA® National Championship Runoffs® has spent the last two seasons banging fenders in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Award for Best Motorsports Race, and back-to-back P4 finishes in 2024 and 2025 prove we’re not just on the grid – we’re in the hunt. Now, it’s time to do it again, but we need your help with a simple (and free) vote.
A vote you can make every day if you want to.
Look at the competition in this 10Best Motorsports Race poll. We’re talking heavyweight contenders like Sick Week, the NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals, the Chili Bowl Nationals, King of the Hammers, and the untouchable juggernaut that is the Indianapolis 500. Holding position just off the podium against that lineup? That’s no lucky lap – that’s race pace.
Still, it’s time to kick it up a gear.
As we mentioned not long ago, the Runoffs is back on the USA Today 10Best ballot, and voting is live through April 27, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET, with results announced on May 6. That means the green flag’s out, the throttle’s wide open, and it’s time to lay down some fast laps.
Yeah, cracking the top 10 isn’t easy, but we’re not here for a Sunday cruise – this is a race, and we’re here to climb the standings.
Need a reason to push us to the front? Spend a week in the Runoffs paddock and you’ll get it. This is where championships come down to a last-corner drag race, where every apex matters, and where drivers climb out of the cockpit with everything left on the track – and sometimes tears in their eyes. This isn’t just another event – this is the Runoffs.
Vote now, then scroll down on this page for a video treat…and then smash that “Vote” button again tomorrow, because USA Today allows repeat voting!
