It’s Full Speed Ahead with Hagerty and SCCA This Summer

Mid-season check-in and … yes, Hagerty (the Official Insurance Partner of SCCA®) is still powering a ton of activities with the SCCA. There was never any doubt.

First up: Why? Hagerty, after all, is an insurance company, so why would Hagerty have an interest in the Sports Car Club of America™? Well, Hagerty is like no other insurance company – this company is about the drive, and enthusiasts who want to drive.

Which brings us to the first stop on our Hagerty tour, and that’s how Hagerty drives its members to SCCA events via the Hagerty Drivers Club. Members of Hagerty’s club save $25 off entries for SCCA’s Track Night in America® Driven by Tire Rack events as well as Tire Rack SCCA Starting Line autocross schools.

Next, Hagerty offers not just car insurance, but also specialty insurance aimed at performance drivers. We recently told you about the variety of special endorsements people can add to their Hagerty insurance that will add a level of financial protection during motorsport events, but whether you have that or not, Hagerty offers a 5% discount (not available in CA, TN, MA) to SCCA members on Hagerty policies covering collector cars, motorcycles, race cars, and boats. Race car coverage is something Hagerty offers, too, protecting competition vehicles while in storage, in the paddock, at the shop, and in transit.

That gets things started, but Hagerty takes it one step further with its Keepin’ It Cool awards, presented at all of SCCA’s National Championship events, including the Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships, RallyCross National Championship, Tire Rack SCCA Time Attack National Championship, and the SCCA National Championship Runoffs®.

Speaking of the Runoffs, Hagerty presents both race days at that winner-take-all title event.

Then there are some of the things that Hagerty offers that aren’t SCCA specific, but because Hagerty and SCCA are such a great match, that company’s extracurricular activities align well with that of SCCA members. For instance, there’s tons of free automotive content at Hagerty Media, featuring wrench-turning tech tips, motorsport stories, videos, and more. (And you don’t even need to go to Hagerty’s website for that – it’ll come to you via Hagerty’s free newsletter.)

There’s also car shopping, which Hagerty offers through its Marketplace and Broad Arrow auction platform. Both are worth checking out…often.

Yes, Hagerty’s partnership with SCCA goes far beyond a logo on a banner. From helping enthusiasts get on track through discounts and educational programs, to protecting the vehicles that make our hobby possible, to recognizing sportsmanship, and more, Hagerty remains deeply invested in the people and experiences that define the SCCA community.
