It’s the holidays, which means it’s time to sit back and enjoy time with family and friends. Who are we kidding? It’s actually time to reflect on the important things in life, like all the #funwithcars you had in 2025, and how much of a blast 2026 will be.
It’s also time to remember that the SCCA® National Office will be closed beginning Dec. 24, reopening Jan. 5. If you have any membership questions during that time, there’s a good chance the answers can be found via the Member Access Portal (MAP) at my.scca.com. Login, then head to the “My Account” column on the far left. From there, you can check your licenses, renew your membership, change your password, and more. If you’re looking to reach out to someone on one of the National Boards (be it Board of Directors, Solo Events Board, Club Racing Board, etc.), all of that information is located under the “Member Resources” column.
That “Member Resources” link also contains the File Cabinet, which is packed full of invaluable resources for all Region leaders.
The “My Learning” column has all of your SCCA Academy training needs, with the “Online Store” column taking you to things like patches and stickers, gift cards, and annual waivers.
Register for the National Convention
There’s a lot to learn in the Sports Car Club of America™, with much of that knowledge coming at the SCCA National Convention. The 2026 SCCA National Convention is just around the corner, taking place Jan. 15-23, 2026 – and it’s completely free!
Everything you need to know (like the fact that it’s virtual, meaning you can attend from anywhere in the world) is located on the SCCA National Convention webpage.
We’ll see you there!
Let the Good Times Roll!
Since very little motorsports go on during the week before the New Year, the “good times” that will be rolling are mostly on YouTube.
Turns out, SCCA member Jason Stine is planning to roll quite a bit on YouTube, as he’ll be streaming what he’s dubbing “24 Hours of Runoffs” on Dec. 25. Looking to escape the famn damly for a while? This is the link to the YouTube channel. Otherwise, check out these direct links to the specific timeslots:

Unable to dedicate 24 hours to the Runoffs in one sitting? Check out SCCA’s 2025 SCCA National Championship Runoffs Presented by Sunoco YouTube playlist. Here, you can stream any (or all!) of the 23 fantastic races that took place at Road America during the Oct. 4-5, 2025, Hagerty Race Days. Enjoy it to your heart’s content!
For those with even more of a time crunch during the holidays, we suggest taking in these event recaps from the 2025 Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships, Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials Nationals, and SCCA National Championship Runoffs:
That should keep you busy for a while.
If you find yourself with any additional free time, there’s always your competition car in the garage that needs some attention.
See you in the New Year!
