SCCA and Hagerty Wrap Yet Another Thrilling Year

When the Sports Car Club of America® and Hagerty partnered in 2019, good things were bound to emerge. After all, Hagerty and SCCA share similar goals, and that ultimately comes down to #funwithcars. Hagerty, on the insurance side, and SCCA, hosting motorsports events, are very much two sides of the same automotive coin – minting a partnership where Hagerty became the Official Insurance Partner of the SCCA made oh so much sense. In fact, when you look at 2025, it drives home the point that when two like-minded companies join forces, everyone wins.

Leading into this year, Hagerty was a presenting sponsor of SCCA’s National Time Trials program, but in 2025, a shift occurred. This year, Hagerty and SCCA created Hagerty Track Days, which run in unison with most Tire Rack SCCA Time Attack Challenge weekends. Offering its own run group, Hagerty Track Days add an affordable, low-stress, non-timed element to the competition weekend, allowing anyone who wants to drive on some of the best racing circuits in America the ability to do so with little more than a car and a helmet.

Hagerty Track Days only enhanced the existing partnership.

Hagerty continues to offer a 5% discount on off-track insurance for SCCA members, providing excellent, affordable coverage for all of their enthusiast vehicles, including the cars, trailers, and spare parts and tools they take to the track or autocross course – that’s in addition to their collector cars, motorcycles, and more.

SCCA’s Track Night in America Driven by Tire Rack events bring on-track driving to many of the best motorsport circuits nationwide, and thanks to the partnership, Hagerty Drivers Club members receive a $25 discount.

Hagerty once again presented the race days at the SCCA National Championship Runoffs®, taking place this year at Road America. That comes in addition to presenting the Hagerty Keepin’ it Cool award, which select SCCA members earned at the Tire Rack SCCA Solo® National Championships, Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials Nationals, Runoffs, and RallyCross® National Championship through unwavering spirit or unique accomplishments during the events.

(Fun fact: Tom Harrington was presented with the Keepin’ it Cool award at the Solo National Championships. Meanwhile, Tom Harrington received the Keepin’ it Cool award at the RallyCross National Championship. Different person, and a total coincidence! There are only two SCCA members with the name “Tom Harrington,” and they both won this recognition in the same year.)

While these next programs don’t directly target SCCA’s membership, it’s hard to imagine that many SCCA members don’t benefit from the offerings. Take, for instance, Hagerty’s ever-expanding online marketplace, which includes both classifieds and auction listings. All vehicles on the Hagerty Marketplace site are listed with details and photos that any car shopper needs. Check it out by clicking here.

Furthermore, Hagerty continues to create entertaining and fascinating automotive content, both online at Hagerty.com/media and via the Hagerty Drivers Club magazine. You can also sign up for Hagerty’s free newsletter so the articles and news come straight to your inbox.

What does 2026 hold in store for SCCA and Hagerty? More good stuff, for sure!
