Who Will Win the RallyCross Nats? Modified Classes

The 2023 RallyCross National Championship is nearly upon us! If this is news to you, you better sign up now, then make your travel plans to Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka, KS, for the Oct. 6-8 weekend. Need reasons to go? We’ve got five right here. But whether you’re going or not, you need no excuses to vote in this year’s Who Will Win the RallyCross Nats polls. Yesterday we presented you with the options for the Stock classes, and we followed that up with Prepared. Now, it’s time to tackle Modified.

Modified always offers battles galore, and this year should prove no different. Modified All Wheel Drive boasts the largest entry count of the entire event, with last year’s champ Austin Dowda entered and ready to defend. But last year’s second-place finisher Kent Hamilton is also signed up, as is Jonathan Olschewski, who was set to win it all in 2022 before a mechanical failure on his final run shot him from first to third. Other MA trophy finishers from 2022 will also be on hand, like Jess Moeding, Mark Macoubrie, and Todd Briley.

In other words, this one is anyone’s game, and like last year, we expect it to come down to the wire.

Modified Rear and Modified Front are also poised to rock the house, with past National Champions in both classes ready to add more hardware to their trophy shelves.

Who's gonna win? You tell us!
