You Vote: Who Will Win the Solo Nats? SSC, SSR, and ST

We’re knee deep into the countdown to the Sept. 5-8, 2023, Tire Rack SCCA® Solo National Championships, and with it comes “Who Will Win the Solo Nationals?” polls. The problem is, we have no clue who will win – but with a little crowdsourcing, we might be able to work around that issue.

Yesterday, we posted the first in this seven poll series, beginning with the largest autocross category of them all: Street. Today, we’re treading into a handful of similar but different categories, namely Solo Spec Coupe, Super Street R, and Street Touring®, which consists of Super Street Touring, Street Touring Sport, Street Touring Hatchback, Street Touring Xtreme, Street Touring Ultra, and Street Touring Roadster. Combined, these classes make up about 293 of the 1,300 entries at this year’s 50th event – that’s nearly 23 percent! SSC/L alone accounts for 84 of those entries.

That 285 number is also larger than the entire entry count at the very first Solo National Championships held in 1973. What a difference 50 years can make!

Before you dive into the polls below, keep in mind that with a sold-out event and some classes sporting colossal entry fields, we did our best to select those who might win their class, but we undoubtedly missed a few. Formal complaints about us missing an obvious choice can be submitted here.

Enjoy these polls, and keep an eye out for more Who Will Win the Solo Nats polls heading to an SCCA.com near you.
