'22 U.S. Majors/Super Tour Number Reg. Opens Nov. 3

Registration for 2022 U.S. Majors Tour/Hoosier Super Tour preferred numbers opens Wednesday, Nov. 3 at 9 a.m. Central Time. Those paying the $50 series registration fee can secure a single or two-digit car number of their choosing in a specific Conference(s) – the one(s) they plan to race in. And because SCCA has rules, the numeral "1" at National events is exclusively reserved for current National Champions in each class per GCR section 9.3.29.a.

A Little More Info

Drivers with 2021 (last year) U.S. Majors Tour/Hoosier Super Tour registrations will have until 9 a.m. Central Time on Wednesday, Nov. 10 to secure the REPEAT Conference car number for the upcoming year. The same single or two-digit number can be reserved (if available) in other Conferences for an additional $50 per Conference. On Thursday, Nov. 11, unclaimed numbers will be released back into the general pool.

Looking for something different? A series registration fee of $150 allows drivers to claim a three-digit number for all six Conferences − but the leading digit must be a “1” on the car.

Registered participants can receive a special Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour hard card, but only if they have a headshot photo uploaded through your member account portal at my.scca.com. Registrants will also receive series decals for car placement prior to events, as well as a discount coupon for merchandise at www.sccagear.com.

The “Fine” Print (but bigger)

Only SCCA Full Competition and SCCA Pro Racing License holders may register for the U.S. Majors Tour or Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour. Membership and competition licenses must both be current when registering. Registration allows drivers to prepare number graphics for their cars that will be good for the 2022 season as long as registration is completed 14 days prior to an event’s start date. In-Conference reserved numbers will be given priority over out-of-Conference reserved numbers for events. In the case of a dual-Conference event, any duplicate reserved number requests will be resolved by earliest event registration timestamp.

The word “reserved” does not mean “permanent.” If Class Run Groups deviate from a norm for any reason, number assignments for that event will give preference to in-Conference drivers who register first; then further duplicate requests will be resolved by earliest event registration timestamp.

The Hoosier Super Tour and U.S. Majors Tour are pinnacles of amateur championship racing in North America. This is where America's best amateur drivers race. It's not only where drivers put their cars on the track, it’s where they put their skill and pride on the line. Check back soon to SCCA.com for the 2022 Hoosier Super Tour and U.S. Majors Tour schedule.
