SCCA In the Media: SCCA Southern New York Region

The Southern New York Region Sports Car Club of America (SNYR-SCCA) got its autocross season rolling this past weekend at Binghamton University, and a reporter from WICZ-TV was there to chronicle the occasion.

In the news story, SNYR-SCCA Regional Executive Michelle DiGiacomo is quoted as saying, “There's really low barriers to entry for autocross. You can race your daily driver with your regular wheels on to a fully modified vehicle. We set up a course, everything is very safe we have a lot of safety checks. and the cars will race through the timed course one at a time and race for the fastest time. A lot of it's about skill."
