Michelle Quinn defended her F Modified Ladies title in dominate form, winning the class by 3.759 seconds. Quinn has taken the title in five of the last six years and has grown very comfortable at the controls of her FML machine, even with the limited seat time she had this season.
In Street Touring Sport, Jason Frank came away the winner after finishing Tuesday’s runs more than 0.3-second behind Andrew Canak. During Wednesday’s run on the West course, Frank pulled out the big guns on his second round by breaking into the 63-second range. That was something no other driver in the class would be able to duplicate. On his third run of Wednesday Canak had the raw time to stay at the top of the order, but took out three cones and incurred the resulting penalty. That was gave give the nod to Frank by 0.117-second.
