About me:

my name is sunnyday onthe mattoleriver.yes true name.born a very poor country boy who used to weld roll bars in 1980 supras and rally them around.i raise my 8 tear old by myself for 5 years as mom is gone.i teach part time as a teachers aid..my mother passed away a little while ago.she too raised me and my brother alone.our grand ma and grand pa too.i was left with a little money.mom says "i spent my life working and being a mountain women..never saw much or did a lot (yet she was a local legend her)..please show your daughter that dream inside you.dont be like your brother who is love so dearly work his life away like me"...off i went to a unknown race school(bobby cees racers edge)i had already bought a new radical sr3 never setting foot on a race track..it went strange.i was very fast but lacked any true skill.had to come back and di it agin to pass test...on my way home i was waiting in a 2 hour wait of a line for car rentals.i had my gear and a Australian man and me got into a talk on what i did and car i bought.he warned me that a car like that without serious training can really hurt kill or br extremely expensive..turns out i was talking to the man who would six months later be leading the indy 500 for 26 laps.. he was james davison.he liked my story and said he has never taught someone who wasnt very much involved in racing already.asked what my goal was..."I WANT TO HOLD A TROPHY OVER MY HEAD IN FRONT OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE"...."then your going to need more trying then you could imagine...and whats your dream car to race?"    "formula cars"

lets cut to now..2000 a day for full data 6 onboard  cams with every forty minute back to the data bus for analysis on breaking gears flow entering exiting.you guys at spca get the point.high end very intense training with worlds top 10 0verall drivers.46 lessons later I'm now 4/10 of a second from breaking a 20 year record at sonoma.my track now.jd got long time family friend and big time team camron motorsports to guild me along.since then i don't miss test days..in three weeks it all gets put to test as i enter my first year with the SCCA MAJORS TOUR WEST COAST.ill drive as being scared and respectful...but like james has said.."you lack racing time..but remember your the 43 year old man thats acts like he is 17 and your better then every guy in the next two classes up.but you got start where we all did in a formula ford (FF)..and be prepared to be in last and to hope to finish the race...but if you feel you can pass these blokes and they are to slow then pass every one and bring in that W".......so on jan 12 james and i and team will be there and be ready for this old guy to live a child dream..i just kinda got some ok training here that just might help ...thank you spca for giving me a place and plan to live this dream.your team I've all talked and laughed with .you guys are family
