April Showers Bring May Track Night Discounts for All (Plus Even More for Military)

The week before hits like a bang of the rev limiter – your brain already nearing 8,000 rpm. You roll through the gates at the racetrack and it’s instant sensory overload: hot rubber, brake dust, adrenaline humming like a V-8 (or V-6, or I-4, or I-3, or boxer, or rotary … pick your poison). Then you’re sitting on grid about to hit the track, heart thumping harder than a lumpy cam, hands a little shaky, grinning like you know you’re about to do something insanely fun – and crazy addictive. And this month, you can do it with a discount (or two, if you served in the military).

Let’s not kid ourselves, there’s almost nothing as good as ripping a car around a racetrack. It’s fun, it’s fast, and it’s borderline indecent as to how good it feels when everything hooks up just right. You, the machine, apex after apex – yeah, it’s that kind of relationship. And with Track Night in America® Driven by Tire Rack, you can keep coming back for more, over and over again.

This May, we’re making it even easier to feed that addiction. Use the discount code SHOWERS26 when registering for any Track Night event with open registration and knock $25 off the already wildly low pricing that SCCA members receive.

(Non-SCCA members are welcome to join the fun at all Track Nights, although they’ll need to purchase a weekend membership to participate. Not an SCCA member yet? Fix that! Go set up your SCCA member account and get yourself dialed in.)

Yet that’s not the only Track Night discount that’s on the table this May…

Military Saves Even More

SCCA membership has its benefits, and the Sports Car Club of America™ wants all military service members to join the fun. That’s why those with military service receive a 20% discount on their national SCCA membership dues.

To access your 20% military discount, email membership@scca.com with your SCCA member number (if you are already an SCCA member), name, most recent rank, branch of service, and years of service. (Note that this can be done before or after joining the SCCA.)

Then, for Track Night in America events those military service members register for in May, they will automatically receive 10% off Track Nights during the registration process. It’s the least we can do to thank you for your service.

What is Track Night?

Think of Track Night in America Driven by Tire Rack as your gateway drug to speed: legal, controlled, and just addictive enough to keep you coming back for more. For around $175 (less, when you play your discount cards right), you can take your street car to the track and let it breathe the way it’s been begging to. All you really need is an approved helmet, then strap it on, click that belt, and get ready to do some insanely fun things with your hands and feet.

Don’t have a helmet? Buy one at the Track Night Safety Store.

New to the track? Good. That edge, that nervous energy – that’s part of the fun. Track Night splits drivers into run groups by experience, so you won’t get thrown into the deep end without a float. And the Track Night coaches? They’re like your confidence crew, there to guide you, calm you, and (when the moment’s right) encourage you to push a little harder if that’s what your heart desires.

Track Night’s Hawk Novice Experience is built for first-timers who’ve been fantasizing about this but haven’t quite pulled the trigger yet. Then, for those who’ve played this motorsports game before, know that Track Night has a run group for all experience levels.

Here’s what to expect at an event.

So, what is Track Night? It’s your next good time.
