The 2025 Tire Rack SCCA Time Attack Challenge season debuted in February with a full-throttle kick-off that’s still replaying strong in the memory banks. Don’t remember it? Here’s a link to what went down at that event. Ready to make more memories? You can…and it’s easy! Registration is now open for the Feb. 21-22, 2026, Time Attack Challenge, and as lady luck would have it, the season opener is again in Las Vegas, taking over the 2.4-mile, 12-turn Outside Road Course once more.
This mid-February Time Attack Challenge marks the beginning of what will be a spectacular 2026 season. This event is the first of four in the West Tire Rack SCCA Time Attack Challenge series. Following up Vegas is the May 30-31 event at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, CA, then during the Aug. 22-23 weekend the series hits up The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, WA. The final stop of the West Time Attack Challenge series is on Nov. 14-15 at Buttonwillow Raceway Park in Buttonwillow, CA.
West too far for you? There’s an East Time Attack Challenge series as well, with that debuting on May 2-3 at Eagles Canyon Raceway in Decatur, TX. That event is followed by a stop at Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, SC on June 13-14; Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA, on July 18-19; and Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL, on Aug. 1-2.

Of course, there’s also the inaugural Tire Rack SCCA Time Attack National Championship, taking place Oct. 22-25, 2026, at Eagles Canyon Raceway.
But we’re here to talk about Vegas.
This is No Gamble
The 2025 Tire Rack SCCA Time Attack Challenge at Las Vegas Motor Speedway was a barnburner, with the existing track record dropping from 1:45.333 to 1:44.025. That was, of course, in Unlimited 1, with wheeling honors going to hot-shoe driver Clayton Yates and his rocket of a Corvette. That wasn’t the only track record to be broken that weekend – check out all of the existing times by searching SCCA’s Time Trials “Records and Personal Bests” page.
For 2026, expect more of the same, with drivers being treated to ample track time – like, a lot. Expect a practice session on Saturday morning and three timed sessions later in the day. Sunday brings even more, with three more sessions on the schedule. Each driver’s fastest time from Saturday is added to their fastest time on Sunday, and the three drivers in each class with a cumulatively lower time than the rest will celebrate on the podium.
When you’re done running on Saturday, there’s the SUPERFLY car show to check out. SUPERFLY is actually more of a lifestyle event, with that action beginning in the afternoon and running into the evening.
Oh, there’s also a welcome party, presented by Vitour Performance Tires, with scrumptious grub and friends galore. Don’t have any friends running in the Time Attack Challenge series? Come on out to this Vegas event and you’ll soon have a ton.
Want to get on track but don’t want to compete in the Time Attack Challenge? For that, try the low-stress, non-timed SCCA Track Day taking place on Saturday, Feb. 21. Registration for the SCCA Track Day can be found by clicking this link.
