Voting for the 2026 SCCA® H Production Hall of Fame is now open. To commemorate the nearly 70-year-old SCCA Road Racing class, the H Production Nationwide Points Championship (HPNPC) created the H Production Hall of Fame last year, inducting Randy Canfield, Cat Kizer, and Ray Stone in the inaugural class. This honor recognizes drivers, crew, fabricators, and volunteers who were instrumental in the H Production class over its entire history.
Any past or present SCCA member is eligible to vote for up to three of the nominees each year. The polls are now open and will close promptly at 11:59 p.m. ET on Nov. 30, 2025.
The selection committee will take the top five vote receivers and induct up to three individuals to represent the 2026 HP Hall of Fame class. Inductees will be notified in early December, with a public announcement coming later in the month.
The induction ceremony will be held during the HPNPC's marquee event, the Captn Mikee Cummings H Production Invitational, held at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in August 2026 (exact date TBD). The invitational gives a real "mid-season Runoffs®" feel, with a dedicated run group just for H Production racers, a 20 lap feature race with a victory lap, group dinner parties, and in the first four years of its existence, over 30 H Prod cars were entered, making it the largest non-Runoffs event for the H Production class.
That said, the really special part of the invitational weekend is the coming together of the H Production family. There is an eclectic mix of Runoffs National Champions, perennial National contenders, local Regional racers, SCCA novices, and even retired H Production racers that attend – plus, pictures, videos, and stories are shared throughout the weekend. It truly is a one-of-a-kind grassroots event that pays homage to the glory years, and is a must-see for anyone who loves the foundation and core of SCCA Road Racing.
