Too bad there isn’t an “owner’s manual” for those who possess a passion for motorsport competition. Oh, wait … there is such a thing, and it’s the Hoosier Shop Manual video series produced by Sports Car Club of America.
SCCA has again created a series of visual tutorials thanks to support from Hoosier Racing Tire. These short video vignettes are educational snippets highlighting suspension advice, tire tech, weight balancing info, left-foot braking and heel-toe instruction, guidance for conserving consumables, prepping for tech inspection, and so much more.
Information contained within these enlightening presentations comes from reliable, trusted experts such as Tim Gilvin, Hoosier Racing Tire Product Manager; Lee Grimes, Automotive Product Manager at KONI North America; Grassroots Motorsports’ very own JG Pasterjak; and Jon Krolewicz, SCCA’s Senior Manager of Time Trials and Track Events. Successful SCCA drivers Daniel Richardson, Shelly Monfort and David Ogburn add their sage advice to the series, too.
