Had enough holiday planning, shopping and decorating? Need a couple hours to relax and rejuvenate before the real onslaught begins? Take a “mental health” break this Sunday, Dec. 20 and watch the final two 2020 SCCA Runoffs race broadcasts on CBS Sports Network!
Starting at 2 p.m. Eastern, with a 9 p.m. Eastern encore presentation on CBS Sports Network, Formula Enterprises 2 delivers a HO, HO, wHOle bunch of action from start to finish. Cars sliding around like sleds on snow, and young bucks strutting their stuff, it’s a race that shouldn’t be missed.
At 3 p.m. Eastern, ornaments will rattle as ground-pounding GT-1 makes the season jolly on CBS Sports Network. Turn up the TV’s volume and activate surround sound for a Runoffs race to make you sing along. An encore presentation of the GT-1 race puts a giant bow on CBS Sports Network’s coverage of the 57th SCCA National Championship from Road America at 10 p.m. Eastern.
Select SCCA National Championship Runoffs races aired in November and December on CBS Sports Network. The broadcasts provided Sports Car Club of America a chance to share its thrilling brand of championship road racing to millions while also showcasing accessibility to motorsports. Each separate race, captured by Apex Broadcast for a 12th year in-a-row, was 60 minutes in length and include commentary from motorsports broadcasting icon Bob Varsha, as well as Runoffs stalwarts Ryan Myrehn, Tom O’Gorman and Larry MacLeod with Heyward Wagner again providing coverage from pit lane. All broadcast times are Eastern, and the schedule is subject to change. Check cable or satellite TV providers for local CBS Sports Network channels.

The SCCA National Championship Runoffs has evolved into what is now commonly agreed to be a pinnacle of American motorsports. Since 1964, SCCA has crowned Road Racing’s National Champions through the winner-take-all, single race Runoffs format featuring dozens of separate races over three days.
