Register Now for the 2019 DirtFish RallyCross Mid-America Challenge

The third and final weekend of the DirtFish SCCA RallyCross® National Tour is fast approaching! Lucas Oil Speedway will be the site for the Mid-America Challenge hosted by the SCCA Kansas City Region July 19-21. The Speedway, with its rich dirt track history, is considered one of the top-five dirt tracks in the world, and promises to be an exceptional venue.

Wheatland, Missouri, with a population of 371, is the home of Lucas Oil Speedway. Located about an hour North of Springfield and two hours Southeast of Kansas City, it’s surrounded by farmlands to the West and the Murphy Memorial State Forest to the East. The Speedway houses a 3/8-mile oval dirt track, 1.2-mile off-road track,  go-kart slick track and the world’s only purpose-built ¼-mile drag boat lake, Lucas Lake.

Registration is now open for the event and while there was originally an early entry $20 discount that ended on June 19th, the SCCA Kansas City region board decided to extend that price of $95 until close of registration on July 18th

Camping from dry sites for tents to water and electric hook ups for RVs are available from $10 to $35 per night and include access to the onsite shower house.  Go to http://www.lucasoilspeedway.com/guest-info/camping-lodging for more information and call (417)282-5984 for reservations.

Friday morning, the gates open at 10 a.m. and check in and tech start at noon. Be sure to have your car lined up in grid by 5 p.m. for class inspections to avoid any penalties. Class inspection runs until 5:30, giving enough time to make it to Bolivar, 40 minutes North of the venue, for dinner.

Saturday morning driver’s meeting is at 8 a.m. and the fun begins at 8:30! Make sure to bring your own lunch for about an hour lunch around 1 p.m. and competition is expected to last until around 6 p.m. Sunday morning competition is also planned to start at 8 a.m. (with gates opening at 6:45) and is estimated to run until around 2 p.m. with awards presented 30 minutes after.

Come join in the fun and pitch some skids on July 19-21st! Head over to MotorsportReg to register for the event. To find out more about Lucas Oil Speedway, click here: www.lucasoilspeedway.com.
