SCCA In the Media: Yellowstone Region

Sports Car Club of America’s Yellowstone Region opened its autocross season recently and was paid a visit by KTVQ-TV out of Billings, Montana. The event itself was held in a parking lot at the MetraPark complex, which sits just a stone’s throw from the Yellowstone River in the City of Billings.

Bill Blaquiere, Yellowstone’s Region Executive, told the news station the weekend motorsport activity was all about adrenaline and fun.

“We run against the clock so it’s always a challenge to see if you can better your time from your previous run,” Blaquiere said. “If you have other cars in your class, it’s kind of fun to see how you’re comparing with those guys as well.”
