Register Now for the 2019 DirtFish RallyCross Great Lakes Challenge

Round one of the DirtFish SCCA RallyCross® National Tour in Utah is in the books and was a spectacular event. Round 2, the Great Lakes Challenge is just over a week away and is shaping up to be even better with 53 competitors already registered!

The largest class based on registrations is Modified Front with ten entries, followed by Modified Rear with nine. So far, competitors’ home states range from Washington to Vermont. The event can only hold 75 entries, so register soon. Entries in Utah doubled the last week leading up to the event! Registration closes Wednesday, June 12th at midnight eastern.

It’s been said this venue is one of the best in the country, so you don’t want to miss this event. Located in Ohio’s first and third capital, Chillicothe, with its historic buildings, ceremonial mounds and beautiful parks, the Ross County Fairgrounds will be the place to be June 14th-16th.  Saturday’s courses will be held in a fairly hard-packed hay field. Sunday’s course will be in front of the grand stands on the hard packed dirt infield of their oval track. There’s lots of room to spread out the courses and maximize the fun factor.

The venue offers camping for $25 per night as well as showers, so you can get cleaned up after a long day of fun in the dirt. For camping information, e-mail Philip Hurtt at camping@rosscountyfair.com or call at 740-993-2196. Go to https://www.motorsportreg.com/events/great-lakes-challenge-rallycross-national-tour-ross-county-fairgrounds-774610 to register for the event.  E-mail John England at jengland788@gmail.com with any event questions or to inquire about late registration, if there are any spots left after registration closes.
