2017 Tire Rack Peru Match Tour: Tune-In

The Tire Rack Peru Match Tour is coming at you fast! We've got some of the best racers from the middle states coming together for one of the first events following Spring Nationals.

A Street (8 entries) – We are hoping to see Brian Regganie have a great battle with Justin Batten in dueling Corvettes but I expect Brian to come up on top in the LS fest.

B Street (7 entries) – Trevor Jones is going to battle Paul Kolatorowicz and Eric Stahl each bringing a different car go the fight, a Ford Focus RS, a Pontiac Solstice and a Nissan 370Z respectively, to what will be a great class to watch as BS has been proving to be for a while now.

C Street (13 entries) – I expect the crazy Canadians Rogerson and Janveaux to get a good fight out of Zeisler and Cone with Carpenter and Harp expected to be among the frontrunners. Don't count out Spec Miata racer Tracey Ramsey or former DPL Champ Anne Robinson either, definitely a fun class to watch.

E Street (9 entries) – Mark Groseth has been on a great run to start his season locally in Chicago, can William Loring or Adam Norton slow his charge to glory and fame in a flexible chassis convertible showdown?

F Street (6 entries) – This is going to be a battle between 'Merica and zee Germans with Clark Walker and Brian Flanagan piloting the M3's and Cindy Duncan representing in a proper Mustang GT to keep them honest.

G Street (6 entries) – This one looks like a Ford Festival with a bunch of ST's vs a lone GTI, unless hotshoe John Azevedo decides to join the fight last minute. If not Bill Keese gets the nod here.

H Street (5 entries) – 5 drivers, 5 cars, 5 different states representing. Three ST's, two Mini Cooper's and a Chevy Sonic make up the class with Roy Handoko expected to be at the top of the class in his Focus ST.

Super Street R (8 entries) – SSR are is keeping the Hoosier dream alive with Matthew Braun coming hot off a second place finish in Lincoln, Luckow and Tsang are going to have to give it everything they got to bring the fight to Matthew.

Street Touring Roadster (6 entries) – Waksman, Locsi and Viars are expected to Duke it out for the top spot here.

E Street Prepared (6 entries) – Vrooman and Stevens are two to watch battle Devin Taylor's F-Body beast.

F Street Prepared (6 entires) – With a pretty large spread in model years for cars, this one should be interesting. Greg Anthony is in one of the late model cars but Scott Giles is in one of the lightest cars.

Super Street Modified (5 entries) – Featuring a Miata, an Elise and a 370z, this class is a battle of the best bolt ons.

C Modified (6 entries) – Colin Faucet will have to be on his "A-Game" to take down Chris Pruett and watch out for Indy Regions own Joel Harleman defending his home turf with Colin.

Kart Modified (3 entries) – Former FJ Champion Tom Regganie wheeling a big boy kart in a class of three, watch out for this PAX killer.

CAM-S (11 entries) – Losert and Finch will have their hands full as Alex Tziortzis pulls off the Hoosiers he trophied the Spring Pro on and makes his Corvette class legal on 200tw. Watch out!

CAM-C (14 entries) – At 14, this is the biggest class at the Peru Match Tour! This class alone makes almost ten thousand horsepower!!! Lorien Feighner, Jeff Cox and J.J. Mallrich have the tall order of going against Robert Gosda who just earned himself second place in STP at Spring Nat's.

Lastly this is a Match Tour so watch out for certified PAX killers who may not have a full class to do battle with on Saturday but will be there to keep us all honest in the bracket challenges Sunday. You know who you are....

Good luck and safe travels to all competitors coming to Peru this weekend, the course design is said to have something for everyone. So, if you are on the fence and have the means, come join us for what will be an unforgettable event. If not, we will do our best to keep you up to speed with all the action! Smooth, Fast, Clean and FASTER every run, let's do this!
