Two for the (travel) price of one. This season, we have two chances to hit two events in one place in the same weekend: Spring Nats at Lincoln over Memorial Day Weekend and Bristol over 4th of July Weekend. That’s double seat time, double contingency, double everything.

Mmmmm concrete. The same concrete that is so grippy, that we started a hashtag in its honor. So, when that Lincoln concrete stretches the limits of physics, just remember the hashtag #LincolnGripDidThis. This is your chance to prepare for the ProSolo Finale and Solo Nationals, all in the same weekend. Test some changes and find out what you need to work on before September rolls around.

While we’re talking about Solo Nationals, do you have memories from 2016 you need to atone for? That one cone that really ground your gears? Chances are, you’ll have the opportunity to see that cone again at Spring Nationals, although it might be from a different direction or slightly adjusted.

A central location on a long holiday weekend means that people from across the country converge on Lincoln Airpark for all the reasons we’ve already listed. If you think Lincoln is inconvenient for you, it is only 121 miles from the Geographic Center of the Contiguous United States, so it is equally inconvenient for both coasts. And if that’s too far of a drive, the civilian terminal of the Lincoln Airport is just around the corner.

Mmmm food. Catch karaoke or just get back to your favorite Solo Nationals eatery a few months early. We’ve got some suggestions. You thought you could only get good BBQ in the South! Ha! The southerners recommend Phat Jack’s, just on the other side of I-80. D'Leon's Mexican is still a must try of Lincoln sporting its beautiful trailer park background and tip cup tapped to the outside wall. Another "must try" is Red Fox on O-Street. Offering the "Big Cheese" Cheeseburger that consists of a burger patty between two grilled cheese sandwiches, it's a week’s worth of calories in one meal.
