2016 Tire Rack DC ProSolo: Tune-In

See Who's Attending the DC ProSolo!

The fourth ProSolo on the 2016 calendar is just a few days away, and with about 210 drivers currently registered it's not too late to join in on the fun! Even though the event isn't yet sold out, there are plenty of big classes that are sure to bring us some exciting action.

In Street, AS will be the biggest class with 12 drivers. It will be a great battle as always between Mark Daddio and Mike Junior Johnson for the top step of the podium, with a possibility for Sam Strano to be in that hunt if he decides to forego Hoosier grip for the weekend. CS is next largest at 11 drivers, with the Garfields looking for a repeat of their dominant 1-2 finish in their ND Miata at Wilmington. SS might be small with only five drivers, but will be sure to entertain with a three-way battle between Brian Conners, Perry Aidelbaum, and Adil Abdulali, all in Porsches.

Everyone's favorite class to watch, SSR, will have 15 (or more!) drivers trying to chase down 2015 National Champion Grant Reeve and 2016 Wilmington Spring ProSolo winner Sam Strano. Josh Luster and Tony Savini will be looking to improve on their finishing positions from last weekend, and Learic Cramer in her Porsche GT3 will be a wild card with the launch advantage in her GT3.

Street Touring action will be dominated by STR with an impressive 21 drivers, the largest class of the event. After his win last week in Wilmington, Brian Karwan will be trying for a repeat on his home turf in his ND Miata. He won't have it easy with the likes of Jon Caserta, Shane Chinonn-Rhoden, and Will Koscielny breathing down his neck. STX is also quite large at 15 drivers, with David Marcus as the favorite to win coming off his impressive win in Wilmington.

CSP drivers will dominate the Street Prepared classes in DC. The Davis's will be tough to beat if their car stays running, but Danny Kao and Michael Kline are going to give it their all. BSP was able to make a class, so watch for Hezron Laluces to show us his impressive pace.

SM also made a class with six drivers registered. Dan Stainback will be bringing out his STI for its first national event. He was quick in the car at its first and only local event, but he'll be chasing David White and PJ Corrales in the always-fast Panda.

If you're unable to make it to DC, be sure to tune into the live stream and keep your eyes on live timing. It's going to be an unforgettable event!
