So, why make the trek out to St. George for this year's Match Tour? The site has a spectacular view with the course transitioning from runway, taxi-ways and support tarmac. If you attaended last year, look for an even larger sweeper going from the runway to the first connector! It's asphalt that has very good grip.
What Else Can You Do Around St. George?
St. George is a short 45 minute drive from Zion National Park, the state's most popular national park. The city's walkable downtown area offers great local fare, boutique shopping and plenty of parks including the stunning Snow Canyon—perfect for enjoying the gorgeous fall weather. On the opposite end of the spectrum, St. George is only two hours from the nightlife of Las Vegas, with its never-ending entertainment.
St. George also has some spectacular Mountain biking trails as well as other countless activities for the adults or children.
Need a place to stay? Try The Inn on the Cliff which was just completely remodeled last year. You can litterally walk right across the street to the site from your hotel!
Don't forget, the Match Tour pays the same contingencys as a National tour, so make your way out to Utah and get one final Solo event into your schedule this year!
