Tune In: Crow's Landing Championship Tour

Autocrossing returns to Crow's Landing, CA after nearly 20 years (and one week)! Last week, we tackled the epic history of Crow's Landing and the exictement surrounding the SCCA's return to the site. With one event down, the SCCA National Tour looks to its second event there this weekend, the 2014 SCCA Crow's Landing Championship Tour!

Competitors at the Crow's Landing ProSolo loved the grip and the competition and this week's Championship Tour should be no different. If you can get out there for Friday night’s welcome party, the San Francisco Region master chef, Leslie Francavilla, and her crew will not disappoint your taste buds!

If you don't go, be sure to tune in to uStream to hear all the action! The West Coast really turned out for last weekend’s Pro Solo (almost 200 drivers), not to mention competitors from Texas, Arizona, Colorado and New York. The Championship Tour entry list is full of great competition (almsot 300 drivers) in a lot of classes.

C/Street will have 370Zs, FRS/BRZs, RX-8s a BMW E36 M3, Toyota MR-2s, a Mazda MX-5, a Porsche 968 and a 1964 E-Type Jaguar competing! Can anyone knock Jeff Stuart off his C/S throne? Even if not, it's bound to be incredibly interesting with a mix of cars like that. Definately worth watching (or listening) to this class. G Street puts the Focus against the Fiesta again (and an SRT-4 with a Celica just to keep the diversity up).

STC at the Pro had the top four cars (Kalman, Yeoh, Wong and Harnish) within 0.4 seconds for the win and boasts fourteen cars at the Tour. This little pocket rocks make a great spec class to follow.

Speaking of close classes... the top five cars at the Pro in STX were within a second one one another and with the eventual winner, Ricky Crow, back for the Tour in the Annie Gill BRZ, it'll be a tough weekend for everyone! How will Bryan Heitkotter do in the Muresan Integra Type R? What will Stephen Yeoh do in the Davis 325is (normally a strong STC Civic driver)? Even the likes of Tom Kotzian are making their way out to see what all the buzz is about in STX. Tune in to find out how this nineteen car class sorts out!

Check out Super Street Prepared! Corvette Z06s, Lotus Elises, Porsche GT2s, Audi R8s! Turn up the volume for this one!

Classic American Muscle (CAM) looks exciting as these muscle cars will get to flex their muscle as their ancestors did at this location in the '60's. Ford Mustangs, Chevrolet Camaros, Ford Falcon and the lone Corvette of Brian Hobaugh will bring the noise to Crow's Landing!

Don't forget to tune-in at 9:00am PDT to uStream to listen to all the action in class competition and follow all our live results @ sololive.scca.com. Word is there might be fun runs to end Saturday!
