The Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Tour pulls into San Diego this weekend and since you can’t be there, here are some reasons to tune into uStream for the live coverage:

Classic American Muscle (CAM): San Diego has seen some good local CAM action in the early season and it appears that it will be spilling into the Tour. Vintage iron from all of the Big Three will be represented and will be headlined by multi-time National Champion Mary Pozzi in her '73 Camaro RS, now famous world-wide for its inclusion in Gran Tourismo 5 for Sony Playstation. This car is a standout in Pro Touring events throughout the country and Mary should put on quite the show.

Street Touring Extreme: STX is turning into *the* ST class to watch this year, nationwide, and San Diego will be no exception. Max Hayter and Derek Punch will be leading the charge in the FRS/BRZ camp in cars that will be making their National debuts. The familiar BMWs of Charlie Davis, co-driven by Ed Runnion, and the Tsang brothers should also be near the top. The fun in the class comes from Bryan Heitkotter and his ‘94 Nissan 300ZX that he will be sharing with Teddie Alexandrova. Bryan just got this car out for its first event this past weekend and though it will be fun to watch for you, it may not be so much fun for the competition.

E Street Prepared: Reigning National champ Greg McCance will be flying the Fastndrunk colors in his Subaru WRX and should be the one to beat if he’s not too hungover on Tecate or tri-tip. Not to be overlooked are some hot Mustangs coming in from the desert. John Hogan has added moar powers in the past couple of weeks to his beautiful Grabber Blue pony that he will share with Elliot Spidell (an STX staple in previous years). Also not to be ignored is the always fast Britt Dollmeyer driving the yellow S197 'stang owned by Tim Bergstrom. The battle should be strong as it you would expect for a class built on big power.

Be sure to tune in 9:00am PST / 12:00pm EST this Saturday for all the action!
