South Georgia Motorsports Park 2521 Highway 41 Adel, Georgia 31620

Event: Dixie National Tour, March 11-13 Entry Cap: 325 Surface: Smooth Asphalt

There is no better way to start your Solo season than in the warmth of the sun and the hospitality of the Dixie Region. Dixie Region is one of the smallest in the nation, yet they continue to kick off the Solo season with a top-notch event. This year’s event is being billed as “the road to Lincoln starts in Dixie” complete with a General Lee and a Boss Hogg. Event Chairman and past course designer Robert Lewis is passing design duties on to Solo legend John Thomas which promises a great course and an even better show when F-Prepared rolls to the start line. The long, narrow site typically yields courses in the mid-50 second range with fast, runway style transitions as a mainstay. Additional event help is coming from the Atlanta Region’s Grillin’ and Beverage Chilln’ team, delivering a classic southern cook-out for the Welcome Party. Can’t get enough of southern grub? Hit the Catfish House on Saturday night for the finest fried food, grits and all the fixin’s. It is a pretty safe bet that you will have more fun at the Dixie Tour than you will sitting on the couch waiting for your local series to start up.
