So you are looking for a huge piece of fresh, good condition concrete that is not in the middle of nowhere? Look no further than Toledo, Ohio. The Toledo Express airport surface was poured in 2002, so it is in great condition and at just over 50 acres, there is plenty of it. Host region, Northwestern Ohio is one of the strongest Solo regions in the country, known for great events with great courses. Preliminary plans indicate that Johnny Rose will get the course design privileges while Bryan Rawlins will serve as the event Chair. No plans as of yet for the welcome party, but with the restaurants in the area, no one is going to starve. If you are looking for seafood, head downtown to Real Seafood. For Steak, head north to Mancy’s Steakhouse or if you want to stay close, hit Loma Linda’s for a Margarita and Mexican eats. Toledo also boast a great Zoo and a Museum of Art, and for MASH fans, Tony Packo's restaurant in East Toledo, a personal favorite of Corporal Klinger, is a must.

Bottom Line: Toledo is one of those events that has it all. A great host region, lots of places to eat and play and acres and acres of concrete. The National Tour course format should lend itself well to the massive site and this should be one of the events to watch as top drivers get geared up for Nationals.
