Early Registration Deadline for Convention this Friday

If you are planning on attending to the 2016 SCCA National Convention in Las Vegas, don’t wait any longer. A $75 late fee will be added to all registrations beginning this Friday, Dec. 18. The Convention and Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Banquet will be at the South Point Hotel and Casino, Jan. 21-23.

The cost is $325 to attend the Convention and the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Awards Banquet. For those interested in attending only the banquet, tickets for that event can be purchased for $100. Both prices reflect admission without the additional late fee.

Remember, if you, or someone you know is a rising leader within the Club, that person may be able to take advantage of the Summit Ascenders program. For every three standard Convention attendees from a particular Region, the Region has the ability to bring one Ascender at no additional charge. For additional information on this program, contact Rick Myers at rmyers@SCCA.com.

The 2016 Convention focuses on training and leadership development within the Club. Over three days, a leadership summit, SCCA Annual Meeting and SCCA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place. The leadership and training portion of the event will focus on technology, marketing, program development and execution, and the benefits to Region events.

The convention kicks off on Thursday with the SCCA Annual Meeting and a Welcome Reception, starting at 4:30 p.m. Several breakout sessions, covering a number of topics, will fill the schedule on Friday and Saturday. The three-day event is then capped off by Saturday evening’s Hall of Fame and Awards banquet, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
