Heat One/East Course

James Yom ended his first day of competition, in A Street, in the No. 1 position. He is just ahead of Mark Daddio by 0.017-second. Daddio was the class leader after two runs, but Yom was able to get the edge over Daddio during his third look at the course. That pushed Yom to the top of the leaderboard. Friday’s more technical West Course should separate the cream from the chaff.

David Whitener only needed two runs to secure the top spot in Street Touring FWD. He was the only driver in the class to break the 57-second barrier. Preston Jordan attempted to answer Whitener’s fast run during his last lap of the course, but fell 0.302-second short.
