This 1997 Lotus Esprit V8 was built by Lotus specifically for the CART PPG IndyCar World Series.  It traveled with the race teams from 1997 through 1999 pacing races and giving many hot lap rides to VIP guests of PPG.  Paul Newman borrowed this car to give track rides to his friends.

The car went "back to work" in 2016, pacing MARRS races and VRG races at Summit Point.
