Objective

To provide an intern interested in pursuing a career in motorsports with immersive experience in the planning and execution of the SCCA’s premier national championship event — the Runoffs. The intern will gain direct exposure to operations, logistics, volunteer coordination, and event communications.

Focus Areas

•  National-level event planning
•  Participant and volunteer engagement
• Operations logistics and scheduling
• On-site event execution and post-event reporting
• Cross-departmental collaboration

Ideal Candidate

• 18-years or older
• Upper-level university/college student majoring in one of the following programs with motorsports focus who has a basic understanding of motorsports operations:
  • Journalism
  • Business
  • Engineering
•  Interest in hands-on projects and real-world experience
• Ability to be a team player in a hybrid working environment
• Understanding of Microsoft Office
• Experience with Redbooth, MotorsportsReg, and Sportity a plus
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift boxes 20lbs
• No issues working in a variety of weather conditions and near loud cars
