Congratulations on completing an SCCA Accredited Driver School Program! We invite you to become a member of the SCCA family and race with us!

Step 1 – Join the SCCA with an annual membership! The easiest way to join is online at my.scca.com by selecting Join SCCA! SCCA annual membership offers many benefits including SCCA event insurance coverage as well as discounts on automotive and consumer products, services, and travel.

Step 2 – Apply for your Novice Permit or Full Competition License

You must apply within 12 months following completion of this school. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Your driver’s school will have given you a certificate showing that you successfully completed the school, and what license is recommended. A copy of the of the certificate may be uploaded in the “My Documents” section from your Member Account Profile.
  • Novice Permits and Competition Licenses may be purchased through the Online Store at my.scca.com
  • SCCA Examination & Medical History Forms: Completed SCCA Examination and Medical History may be uploaded in “My Documents” in your Member Account Profile.

Step 3 – Complete Annual Waiver · View instructions here.

  • Adult Annual Waiver
    • SCCA Members over the Age of Majority (typically 18 years of age) may add an Annual Waiver digitally through the Member Account Portal.
      • Log in with your SCCA Member #.
      • Go to Online Store - Licenses & Waivers
      • Add “Annual Waiver Adult” license to cart
      • Be prepared to upload a photo of yourself
      • Follow the prompts at the top right of the screen
      • Complete checkout
  • Minor Annual Waiver
    • A minor taking part in an SCCA event as a competitor, on track participant, volunteer or worker with access to restricted (hot) areas MUST have an Annual Minor Waiver on file for the calendar year. Age of Majority is 18 years except in AL and NE at 19; MS at 21.
    • The Annual Waiver Minor License will be issued to the Minor by the SCCA National Office when the following requirements are met. See link to instructions above.
